San Antonio
Saint Anthony
The saint of lost things
This may be momentary
It may be long lasting
But I hope we do find something
Peace?
Fun?
Meaning?
Direction?
Love?
Happiness?
I do hope we find hope
They say people from all over the world lose their stuff in the river
But we are here with invisible stuff,
Some needing repair, some seeking adventure
Will we lose what we brought in the river?
Or find what we don’t even know we’re looking for?
There are dry spots in the city,
But there are spots that the river gives life and energy
It’s filled with fish and birds, trees and reeds, people walking, talking, laughing
For too long, I’ve been seeking abundant love and energy to pour out onto the world
Not realizing that my river has been dry
Maybe I’ll find myself here
Or at least for a moment,
Find a home here
